Mad Science in the junkyard
In 2014 I joined fellow sound designers Ryan Schile and Mel “DJ Catnip” Ruder for a field trip to a junkyard in Chicago’s Gage Park neighborhood, where we beat up a whole bunch of automobiles, recording all the while. We turned the result into a sound design mini-documentary for the podcast Our Fair City.
